Project Management

Anne Frank AR

Summary

I was the lead developer and project manager of an augmented reality human rights app. Being thrown into Apple's new rendering engine RealityKit, I quickly adapted to a foreign coding environment. I designed the project, established deadlines, and motivated my fellow coworkers to create an amazing product. This AR experience uses pedagogical methods to steer children away from radicalization while teaching them about the Spiral of Injustice. You can experience it at the Anne Frank Memorial in Boise, Idaho.

VARScent

Summary

I was the lead developer of a VR diagnostic and therapeutic tool for cognitive health. Since memory has been linked to sense of smell by multiple studies, we incorporated scents into a VR experience. We used that to create a smell test and interactive memory game in VR.

This project had lots of moving components. I had to manage multiple teams including engineering, software, and design. I pitched this project to investors at the Idaho Entrepreneurship Challenge. I got to experience the difficulty of research projects such as the high and low journey of discovery. I learned about different project management frameworks and refined my communication abilities.

Indoor Wayfinding

Summary

A small app about indoor wayfinding. I used a pedometer with pictures and haptics in order to direct someone from point A to point B.
